Shoctober – A huge thanks to Julie Starling for her time, supporting our pupils to develop their CPR skills as part of Shoctober. What a fantastic life-saving skill to learn.
Year 6 Family Service – This takes place next Friday in the hall and parents, carers and relatives are invited to join us at 9am.
PTA Halloween Disco – It’s the Disco tonight. Any cakes would be welcomed. Thanks to all concerned for their help in organising, setting up and running the show!
Body Shop – A brand new Body Shop Advent Calendar (2017 version) containing £139 worth of lovely Body Shop goodies is up for grabs. 100 chances to win it sold at a cost of £2 per chance, raising money to buy PE equipment for us at the school. There are still a few numbers left, so please see Julie Debicka on the Infant yard at pick up or at the Halloween Disco. Diolch Julie!
Twitter – See Twitter for lots of photos and news regarding the following activities: Girls’ Netball, Urdd Boys’ Football, Living Classroom, Rock Choir, Infants’ Jamboree, Shoctober, Kerbcraft and Drama Club. There will probably be more by the end of the day!
Dr. Bike – As part of our Active Journeys work with Sustrans Cymru, we will be holding a ‘Dr Bike’ day, allowing pupils to bring their bikes & give them an MOT. Pupils will be taught how to check their bikes are safe & how to fix a puncture or adjust brakes/gears. Mr Davis will run the session on Tues Nov 13th. He is looking for any parents/grandparents with some technical know-how with bicycles, who could help between 9am & 12pm. If so, please let Mr Davis know and dust off your spanners! Many thanks!
Missing Shoe – Charlie lost a shoe at the cross country. If you have found that it’s been brought home by mistake, then please pop it into the office. Thank you.
Head Lice – We have had reports in the Infants! Please check your child’s hair and treat accordingly.
Foundation Phase Yard – Could all pupils refrain from playing with equipment on the Infant yard at the end of the day and vacate the area by 3.30pm, so that it can be used by After School Club.
Yours sincerely,
Bryn D. Jones
