Dear Parents and Carers / Annwyl Rieni a Gwarchodwyr,

National Tests – With just Years 4 and 5 left to take their reading paper, the tests are nearly over. I am proud of the way the pupils showed great concentration and effort in a mature way, with little fuss and hopefully as little stress as possible. I’m sure they’ll all be relieved to get them out of the way!

Play in a Day – Year 5 had a successful day of it with Jeff, as they learnt, rehearsed, choreographed and performed a play about Ancient Greece. The whole school plus parents and relatives very much enjoyed seeing them share their work at the end of the day.

Cricket Sessions – Cricket coach for Denbighshire and Flintshire Robert Ward will be running some cricket sessions in school for some of the classes, starting next week. On Tuesday, Years 1 and 2 will have their turn.

Parent Governor Nominations – Please refer to the documentation sent home or emailed today, regarding the appointment of two Parent Governors.
