Dear Parents and Carers / Annwyl Rieni a Gwarchodwyr,

It was pleasing to see so many take advantage of the opportunity to look around the school yesterday evening. After all the hard work, stress and organising over the last few weeks, I know the staff were very appreciative of the positive and supportive comments shared with them as you all walked around. I am showing a couple of parents around quickly on Tuesday at 8am, so if you were unable to make it last night and are able to come at that time, then enter main reception and I’ll be happy to include you in the tour too.

Chester FC Wildcats – Our after school club began this week. The girls had a great time and received a certificate for their efforts.

Achievers – Students of the Week included Azam, Jay, Xavier, Tilly, Daniel, Mia and Emilie. Welsh awards went to Gabby, Poppy, Lily, Alex and Matthew. Alys received a gymnastics award. Well done to all.

Guidance on Infection Control – I am once again sharing online the guidance on advising parents regarding the amount of time pupils should be kept off school for particular illnesses.

Urdd Tickets – The deadline for early bird tickets at a cheaper rate for Builth Wells is on Monday.

Play in a Day – On Wednesday, this annual activity will take place for Year 5 pupils. They will learn, choreograph, rehearse and perform a play in one day.
