Dear Parents and Carers / Annwyl Rieni a Gwarchodwyr,
The first full week comes to an end for the pupils and I am very pleased to see how all classes have slipped seamlessly back into the groove. Our arrangements in Year 6 are working well and the Nursery Class continue to settle with very little fuss. This augurs well for a very good year indeed!
Daw yr wythnos cyfan cyntaf i’r disgyblion i ben. Mae’n bleser gweld pawb wedi dod yn ol i’r arfer yn syth. Mae trefniadau Blwyddyn 6 yn gweithio yn dda ac mae’r dosbarth Feithrin wedi setlo heb unrhyw ffws na ffwdan! Mae’n argoeli’n dda ar gyfer blwyddyn llwyddiannus!
Yours sincerely / Yn gywir,
Bryn D. Jones, Headteacher
Make Some Noise – The Denbighshire Music Cooperative visited to hold a special concert showcasing their lessons. Thank you to them for a lively enjoyable session which I’m sure has piqued the interest of many, where taking up music lessons is concerned.
New Staff – It’s been a pleasure to welcome new staff who will be supporting us for this academic year. Mrs. Jan Hughes has joined us to work alongside Mr. Davis, teaching our Year 6 pupils. Mrs. Shanny Parker has also come on board to support pupils in the Juniors. We hope they very much enjoy working with us this year and being valuable members of our team.
Extra Curricular Clubs – Clubs will run as follows:
Morning Assembly – Thank you to Reverend Stuart for leading our assembly this morning. He talked about building the future and gave Ffion a 30 second challenge to build a model from some Lego. The construct was called ‘Choo Choo!’
