Dear Parents,
Snow – There has been much excitement today as the snow has fallen. More is forecast and of course, we will have to see how that affects us moving into next week. Twitter will keep you updated.
Xmas Dinner – The pupils will enjoy their Christmas lunch next Thursday, 14th December. In order for the canteen to have correct numbers in advance, please inform us and pay on Monday. Many thanks.
Parking – I have been contacted by a local resident asking for parents to park respectfully outside homes around the school. Please help us maintain good relations by conforming to this request.
Christmas Choir – This weekend our choir sings again. On Saturday, could we meet at Llys Marchan for 11.55, to sing at 12pm please. Pupils can wear own clothes. On Sunday, we sing at the Rotary Concert in St. Peter’s Church. Please be there by 5.45pm in school uniform. If there are any changes to the above arrangements due to the weather, then I will update via twitter. Thank you to the pupils and parents supporting our choir.
Glasdir – Members of the School Council have visited the Glasdir site over the last week to have a sneak preview of how the building is progressing. I think they were suitably impressed!
PTA Fair – Due to the weather, we have unfortunately had to postpone the PTA Xmas Fair. We will endeavour to reschedule in some form before the end of term.
Xmas Jumper Day – As is traditional every year, we will be taking part in this event once again and next Friday, pupils can pay a pound to come to school in a Christmas Jumper. Money raised goes towards Save the Children.
Yours sincerely / Yn gywir,
Bryn D. Jones, Headteacher / Pennaeth
